Ceramic and Porcelain Tile

Tile

Tile is a beautiful investment and typically will increase the value of a property. Tile is very durable, it lasts longer, and requires minimal cleaning.

There are two types of tile:
Ceramic:
Advantages of ceramic tile include: fade and stain resistant, controllable slip resistance, and a hygienic surface. Ceramic tile also offers glazed and unglazed options.  When choosing the right look for you, ask your sales rep what best suits your needs.

Porcelain:
Porcelain tiles are more dense ceramic. Qualities include: increased durability, design friendly and higher breaking strength. It also has a very low water absorption rate.

Lastly, tile can be installed over different subfloors. Acceptable subfloors for tile installation are concrete slabs, cement backer unit or existing ceramic tile.
